Waking up in New York is so exciting but adrenaline wasn’t enough when you only slept for a couple of hours. Three cups of coffee later, I was able to peel myself off the bed. By the way, we stayed at a super cozy spot called Marlton Hotel. We absolutely loved stylish and cute rooms and cozy lobby where they had fire going on all day and night. Highly recommend that place!
The highlight of our time in the city was definitely ice skating in Central Park. I mean, come on, its so magical and we were lucky that there weren’t a ton of people on the ice rink. I have to confess, while Samuel and I were skating, almost the entire time i was crying with happy tears. I was feeling so happy, loved and lucky that i can share this magical moment with my loved one.
I know, 2016 wasn’t an easy year and lots of scary things happened in the world and lots of lives were lost. However, I want to focus on positive and say how lucky and grateful I am that my loved ones and I are healthy and happy. Despite any difficulties, we made it through and I can’t wait to see what 2017 will bring!
