I have never felt this this special, happy and excited as i did this year on my birthday! My amazing boyfriend surprised me with a helicopter ride to Catalina Island the 2 things i have been dying to do!
I want to share how it all happened. My birthday is July 8th and this year it was a Friday. I love planning events and parties but I don’t really care about a party for myself. For my birthday all i wanted to do was to spend quality time with my man and that was my only wish 🙂 Samuel told me to book out Thursday and Friday and the rest was a surprise! I had no idea what I am in for but its so fun to be curious and not knowing what to expect. Samuel even packed for me cause i had no idea what to bring, right?
On Thursday we Ubered to the hotel where we had drinks with a view, walked on the pier and had a super delicious dinner as the sun was setting down. During dinner Samuel finally unveiled the mystery of what we were doing on my birthday. I was jumping up and down on the chair and squealing with happiness. Honestly, I could hardly sleep because i was so excited!
In the morning we got on the helicopter and i go to sit at the front with the pilot :-p I am not afraid of flying but i always imagined that helicopter ride would be scary. But it was so calm and such a fun flight, absolutely nothing to be scared of! Catalina island is only 15 mins away by helicopter or 40 mins away by ferry and its such a cool and beautiful island! I got a vibe of being in little Mexico at the same time it felt like a Mediterranean island. It was so nice to kick back on the beach, have delicious margaritas and an amazing seafood feast with a view. Another surprise that Samuel had for me was going taking a boat out and cruising around in the waters. It was such a special and fun day, I feel so lucky!
