The next morning after breakfast and much needed relaxation in the hammock to the sounds of birds and the view of the water, we made our way to Viceroy Hotel. The idea was to have a chill day on the beach and Sugar Beach located in the middle of two volcanos was a perfect spot for it.
The island is very mountainous like I mentioned in the previous post. So, when we got to Viceroy and parked the car, a tuk-tuk brought us down to the water. Sugar Beach is so picturesque! Samuel and I loved playing in the water, kicking back on the white sand and shooting.
We wanted to watch sunset during dinner but were having so much fun that we didn’t notice the sun starting to set down. So, we decided to watch sunset on the beach. It was such a magical sunset as the skies turned red and a big boat was sailing in the horizon. Absolutely breathtaking! This was a moment from the book ‘Scarlet Sails’ that came to life.
